This is a great pair of sandals because they’re so versatile …..you can easily dress these up or wear them casually. They don’t cut into my foot at all and they’re super easy to wear. I love the braided strap detail and the small chunky heel is a really nice way to wear heels -they’re not too tall and they’re not too short and they can dress up a pair of jeans or a skirt so well !
I put these on and wore them all night. The heel is to me slightly higher than a classic kitten height, but they are super comfortable anyway. I love the woven strap. The fit is roomy enough to be almost too roomy for me, but since like most people after a day of walking mine get a bit larger, these shoes will be great. I can't say enough about how cute they are. The toe is square, so it makes my toes look a bit more even. The sole is tan, which is a classy touch.I wear a 10-11, ordered a 10. Fits perfectly.
These are very attractive heels with an open mesh. The upper is faux leather. The heel is not really a kitten heel as it measures about 2 1/2" in height. Because it is a bit higher of a heel, you slide forward in the shoe and you rub against the toe post, which is a bit uncomfortable. In addition, there is no arch support, so if you need that, you will have to stick on an accessory arch (not included). Because of the material it is made of, when you first receive the shoes, there is a powerful chemical odor in the box and from the shoes. It fades away, but takes a while. If the height and lack of arch are not problems, these are cute and a good price for this pair of sandels.
I have comically large feet for a 5'6" frame, both length and width, and I mostly wear men's shoes outside of heels, where I usually land around a 13. As I've branched into other brands, a foot length of 10.8 to 11.1 inches has been my sweet spot for managing both length and width, which normally puts me in a 12 to 13. In this brand I came out to an 11, so my honest advice is to go by your actual heel-to-toe measurement, which seems to run true here, rather than your usual number. I personally needed to size down, but a size of drift between brands is normal in either direction, so a shopper who buys more women's shoes than I do may not have the same experience. Since it's a thong style with no sides, width was never a concern apart from how it plays into balance.Balancing in them was easy enough and honestly not bad, though a heel that fully wraps the foot snugly shifts around less and is a bit easier to manage. The big thing is skin contact. I first tried them with toe socks I already had on when they arrived and it was a slip and slide, but going barefoot in them vastly improved my stability. There's a faint peeling noise as the bottom of your foot lifts off the footbed when you walk, but it's minor and didn't bother me.They were comfortable for me with no sore spots, and the between-the-toe thong post never gave me any discomfort. My photo gives a good sense of how the woven braided strap sits across the open square toe.I've been hunting for a heeled sandal in this vein for a while, and sizing has always been the gatekeeper, so I really appreciate that this brand accommodated my feet and finally scratched that itch. I tend to pair wide leg pants with flats and save heels for fitted or nude-toned legs to even out my foot to frame proportions, and these slot right into that rotation. At $50 at time of writing they feel worth it to me, especially given how hard it's been to find a kitten heel sandal that actually fits and stays comfortable.
