Cushionaire is built on all-day comfort, and we stand behind how our shoes are made. For one year from the day you buy them, if a genuine defect in materials or workmanship appears under normal use, we will replace your pair. This is Cushionaire's guarantee, offered directly by the brand, no matter which store you bought them from. You do not have to register to be covered. If a pair simply is not right for you, please use the standard return window of the store or website where you bought them. The full terms are below.

1. Who provides this guarantee

This 1-Year Comfort Guarantee (the "Guarantee") is provided by Cushionaire ("Cushionaire," "we," "us," or "our").

This is the brand's guarantee. It is offered by Cushionaire directly, not by the store, website, or marketplace where you bought your shoes. You do not need to return to the place of purchase to use it. You claim it directly with Cushionaire using the steps in Section 8.

This Guarantee is separate from, and in addition to, any return policy of the store where you bought your shoes and any rights you may have under applicable law.

2. What the Guarantee covers

Under normal use and proper care, Cushionaire guarantees your shoes (the "Product") against defects in materials and workmanship for the full Guarantee Period (see Section 6). Covered issues include, for example:

  • Sole separation or delamination not caused by misuse,
  • Seam or stitching failure,
  • Failure of straps, buckles, zippers, or other hardware under normal use,
  • Footbed or insole failure beyond normal compression,
  • Other genuine manufacturing defects that affect how the Product is meant to be worn.

If we confirm a covered defect within the Guarantee Period, we will replace your pair as described in Section 9.

3. What the Guarantee does not cover

This Guarantee does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including outsole and heel wear, scuffing, creasing, fading or color change over time, stretching, normal footbed compression, and odor.
  • Comfort or fit dissatisfaction that is not a defect. If a pair is simply not right for you, see Section 4. This Guarantee is not a satisfaction-refund program.
  • Wrong size or a change of mind.
  • Misuse, abuse, accident, or neglect, including use the Product was not designed for (for example, athletic, work-hazard, hiking, or industrial use of casual footwear).
  • Improper care, including cleaning or drying not in line with our care guidance, and machine washing or machine drying unless a style is expressly stated to allow it.
  • Damage from water, heat, chemicals, or solvents, unless the style is expressly sold as waterproof and used as directed.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect the ability to wear the Product.
  • Color transfer or staining from outside sources, such as dye transfer from clothing.
  • Alterations or repairs made by anyone other than Cushionaire.
  • Lost or stolen Products.
  • Products not purchased from an authorized seller (see Section 10), and counterfeit, second-hand, sample, or promotional pairs.

4. If your shoes are not right for you

If your shoes simply are not comfortable for you or do not fit, you do not need this Guarantee. Every channel gives you a window to return a pair for a refund:

  • If you bought online (for example, Amazon, Walmart, Target, TikTok Shop, or Cushionaire.com), use that channel's standard return window, which is typically about 30 days.
  • If you bought in a store, use that store's return policy.

The Guarantee in this document is a separate, longer promise that covers genuine defects in materials and workmanship for a full year, as described above.

5. Registration is optional, not required for coverage

You are covered whether or not you register. Your Guarantee applies to your eligible pair from the date of purchase, automatically. Registration does not create your coverage and is not required to make a claim.

Registration is a free, optional step that lets us confirm your purchase faster, stores your style and size details, and is how you opt in to early access to new styles and member perks. You can register online at cushionaire.com/activate. The 14-day window shown on the hang tag is a recommendation for when to register, not a deadline for, or a condition of, your coverage.

6. Guarantee period

The Guarantee Period is one (1) year from the date of purchase shown on your proof of purchase (see Section 7).

If we replace your Product under this Guarantee, the replacement is covered only for the remainder of the original one-year period. A replacement does not start a new period and does not extend coverage beyond one year from the original purchase date.

7. Proof of purchase

A valid receipt or order number showing the date and seller is required for every claim. Examples include an online order confirmation or order number, or a store receipt.

If you registered your pair, your registration record helps us locate your purchase faster, but registration on its own is not a substitute for proof of purchase. Please keep your receipt or order number.

8. How to make a claim

  1. Contact Cushionaire Customer Service (see Section 13) and tell us you are making a Comfort Guarantee claim.
  2. Provide your name and contact details, where you bought the shoes, the style name and size, your receipt or order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the problem.
  3. If your claim qualifies, Customer Service will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  4. Return the Product to us using your RMA number, following the instructions Customer Service provides.
  5. Once we receive the returned pair, we will ship your replacement as described in Section 9.

The style name is printed on the hang tag and, for online orders, appears on your order confirmation.

9. Remedy

If your claim is approved, your sole and exclusive remedy under this Guarantee is a replacement pair: the same style where available, or a pair of equal value if the original style is unavailable. This Guarantee does not provide cash refunds. Refunds are available only through the standard return windows described in Section 4.

There is no limit on the number of qualifying defect claims during the Guarantee Period, but the Guarantee Period itself always ends one year from the original purchase date and is not extended by any replacement.

10. Eligible purchases

This Guarantee applies only to genuine Cushionaire Products bought in the United States from an authorized Cushionaire seller, with a valid receipt or order number in every case. Authorized sellers are:

  • Amazon (genuine Cushionaire brand listings),
  • Walmart,
  • Target and Target Plus,
  • TikTok Shop,
  • Cushionaire.com, and
  • authorized brick-and-mortar retailers.

This Guarantee does not apply to Products bought from unauthorized third-party resellers, or to counterfeit, second-hand, sample, or promotional pairs. For purchases from a physical store, please do not return to the store for a Guarantee claim; Cushionaire handles these claims directly using the steps in Section 8.

This Guarantee currently applies to purchases made in the United States only.

11. Limitations and legal disclaimers

Please read this section carefully. Some of the limits below do not apply in every state.

  • This is a Limited Warranty.
  • The replacement in Section 9 is your sole and exclusive remedy under this Guarantee.
  • Implied warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the one-year Guarantee Period. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
  • No indirect damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cushionaire is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the Product or this Guarantee. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
  • Your other rights. This Guarantee gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

12. General terms

  • Original purchaser only. This Guarantee applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  • Not redeemable for cash. The remedy under this Guarantee is a replacement pair only, as described in Section 9.
  • Changes to these terms. Cushionaire may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect on the date you purchased your pair governs that pair.
  • Privacy and marketing. Information you provide when you register is handled under the Cushionaire Privacy Policy at https://www.cushionaire.com/policies/privacy-policy. Registration includes opting in to Cushionaire marketing emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. Unsubscribing does not affect your coverage under this Guarantee.
  • Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws of the state where you live.
  • Entire agreement. These terms are the complete statement of the Guarantee between you and Cushionaire and replace any prior statements about it.
