These shoes are comfortable, pretty, and fashionable. I love the colour and fit — I am just not a huge fan of the ankle wrap. I find that the strap to wrap the ankle doesn't look great on my body type. I am 5' 7" and 145 lbs. I am definitely not overweight, but I am an avid runner and I do workout at the gym, which makes my legs a little bit thicker. I find that the wrap looks a little awkward on my legs compared to a woman with much skinnier legs. Besides the ankle wrap not looking all that flattering on me, I have no other issue with the shoes.Again, the colour, style and fit are great, I just wish that they did up without having to wrap the straps up my calves. I am also not used to wearing a shoe with an ankle strap. I have included a picture — maybe they don't look that bad and I am just over reacting. Maybe they don't look flattering, in which case you can see what I mean. Either way, comfort and fashion are not the issue with this shoe — so, if you are used to ankle straps and look good in them, then these are definitely a great pair of shoes for your collection.
The seen runs small. I will suggest to order a 1/2 size bigger
I have mixed feelings about these sandals because there are things I absolutely love about them and one thing that kept them from being a home run.First, they’re really cute. I ordered the beige color, and it’s versatile enough to go with dresses, jeans, or summer outfits without feeling too casual or too dressy. The espadrille wedge gives a little height without being intimidating, and the lace-up ankle ties are probably my favorite feature. They add a lot of visual interest and make the shoes look more expensive than they are.The overall construction looked nice when they arrived. I didn’t notice any obvious flaws, loose threads, or cheap-looking details. The laces were also long enough to style a few different ways, which was a nice touch.Unfortunately, I agree with other reviewers about the toe box. It’s noticeably narrower than I expected, and that’s where the comfort issues started for me. The rest of the shoe fit reasonably well, but my toes felt cramped in the front. I kept hoping they would loosen up a bit with wear, but the shape of the toe area is just too restrictive for my feet.It’s a shame because if the toe box had been roomier, these would probably have become one of my go-to summer shoes. The design is beautiful and the beige color is easy to wear with almost everything.Overall, I’d recommend them to someone with narrower feet who loves the style, but if you need extra room in the toe area, that’s definitely something to consider before ordering. They’re gorgeous shoes—just not quite as comfortable as I wanted them to be.
