These are very comfortable and I love the cream color. They seem to fit a little big that's why I gave 4 stars. On the side there is like a little elastic type piece that stretches when you walk. If I would have known this I would've sized down a size or half a size. Over all their very good Quality.

I have loved these old school espadrilles since I first saw my Aunt Carol wearing a pair. She was one of the early fashion icons in my life, probably the only woman in my entire bloodline to ever wear short shorts before 1989. I remember falling in love with these exact platform slides waaaay back then but never being able to find them.The Platform height I've been searching for is the spec that defines these! High enough lift to read as fashion-forward without entering stilt territory that compromises walkability. The memory foam insole is genuinely plush, not the thin layer of marketing foam that most "comfort" shoes provide; you can feel compression and rebound with each step. The espadrille wrapping is jute rather than synthetic rope, which breathes better and doesn't develop that synthetic-fiber funk after a summer of wear. The slip-on design is true to description. There are no buckles, zippers or straps to wrestle with so these are airport-security friendly and quick-change convenient. The wide sizing option is accurate; the toe box doesn't pinch and the platform base provides stability that narrow platform sandals lack. These Carmen platform sandals are so stylish and just scream summer beach vacation! I ordered them in the natural color and it is a perfect match for my straw beach bag and khaki linen outfits. I brought these sandals on a recent cruise as they can be worn with a variety of outfits from casual to dressy. They are very well constructed and feel comfortable & sturdy to wear. The heel adds a bit of height but they are still easy to walk in. The soles have a good bit of grip too. I love that they just slip on/off without straps. I do find the sandals run a tad bit long & loose so keep that in mind when ordering. I'd order a half size smaller than your usual size for a more secure fit.

I’m a 8.5 in new balance 574 and I wear a 7 in these. Size down half a size.

I didn’t need the ride but they are nice

My wife find these to be very comfortable. They look fantastic on her and she stated that they fit true to size. The material seems like it will stand the test of time. She also stated that they are not to tight or loose like other platform sandals. She found these to be very versatile because she can wear them outside or inside the house. One other thing to note is the color is spot on. These would definitely make a good gift as well. My wife highly recommend these.

Cute but very, narrow and may run just a bit on the small side. If you don’t have narrow feet these might not be the shoes for you, and if you are on the fence I would say try sizing up but then they still may not work. So far I have only worn the around the house and I am honestly not convinced that they would be comfortable for long wear; the strap is quite hard and stiff. I can see it digging in to your feet in the long term

These sandals fit really well, especially if you have wider feet. They’re comfortable right out of the box, and the memory foam adds a nice bit of cushioning for everyday wear.They also feel solid and stable when walking—I don’t feel like I’m going to topple over like with some platform styles. Overall, a great mix of comfort and support that fit true to size.

I've now got multiple variations of the CUSHIONAIRE Carmen Platform Sandals, and my latest pair (size 7.5, Natural color) arrived on April 3, 2026. I couldn't be happier with them.Comfort: The memory foam footbed is a total game changer. There was zero break in period they felt broken in from the very first wear. I've worn them for long days of shopping, outdoor events, and even casual walks, and my feet never hurt or developed any blisters. The straps are soft and don't rub anywhere.Fit: True to size. I'm a standard 7.5, and these fit perfectly snug enough to stay on, but not tight. If you have wide feet, you might want to size up half a size, but for normal to narrow feet, your regular size works great.Style: The Natural color is gorgeous a warm, creamy beige that goes with everything. Dresses, shorts, jeans, skirts you name it. The platform espadrille sole adds a nice 1.5 inches of height without feeling clunky or unstable. They look much more expensive than they actually are.Quality & Value: The stitching is clean, the materials feel durable, and the memory foam hasn't flattened even after regular use. For the price (usually under $45), these are an absolute steal. My older pair is still going strong after two summers.Final thought: If you want a cute, comfortable, everyday summer sandal that you can slip on and forget about, buy these.

There are a few references to materials of nature - rubber, raffia, jute. The shoe itself says all manmade materials. However they worded the listing carefully so as not to blatantly lie. The shoe has a faint scent of non-natural items. You will not notice that unless you try to smell them. The shoes are comfy, stylish and the workmanship is very good. There is some very light tread. The strap has a comfortable lining to protect the top of your foot. The strap has an elastic connection to the shoe to allow your foot some flexing room as you walk and allow for some difference in foot height. The shoe itself is completely stiff. If you want to add a little to your height, they will.

These shows are cute and sure give you a height boost! However, they are heavy and not comfortable to walk in. They’re a bit awkward. The sole is a little squishy, which helps for comfort.They are made of decent quality, but the wicker braiding on the sides might easily fray if the shoes run together.The sizing is great; I usually need wide shoes but these fit fine and are not too narrow!

These platform sandals are super pretty and fit true to size. They are cushioned in the sole which makes for a comfortable fit. They are just a little awkward to walk in, but only because they are platforms, not due to the make of the platforms.The material says all man-made. The edges of the platform and the strap over the foot is a knit fabric and looks really beachy and boho. They are pretty enough to go with something fancier like a summer dress, but they are also casual enough to wear with a regular every day outfit like shorts and a T-shirt.The soles are easy to wipe down with a damp cloth if you need to clean them. The knit fabric is a bit trickier. I got a bit of wet dirt on them and just waited for it to dry and then it just brushed off. Something more stubborn might be tricky though since it won’t just wipe off like it does on the smooth sole. It is fabric though so you could just carefully wash it by hand.

I'm really happy with these platform sandals! They are so comfortable. I ordered my usual 7.5 and they seem to fit really well. The off-white is a nice shade, I think these would be great for a cruise.

My feet tend to sweat sometimes, and when I first put these on, I was slightly worried I might end up hurting myself due to the platform height. But as I started to walk in them, I was surprised at how stable they feel. They’re certainly clunky-looking, but I don’t think they feel as heavy as they look.The upper part is actually quite comfortable on. It’s not as tight as some uppers can be…. It does smell a bit right out of the shoebox, thoufh…I wear a size 7 in women’s shoes and ordered these in size 7. They fit perfectly and true to size. Because the upper part isn’t so tight that I have to make a huge effort to jam my toes through, the length of this fits my feet just fine without my heels hanging out.I like these shoes. They’re nice.These sandals come in a proper shoe box.

For reference, I usually order a 7 or 7.5 in a wide or extra-wide. I went with the 7W in these Cushionaire espadrilles b/c I didn't want them to be too long. The sizing is good- just the right length, and amazingly, they are wide enough. For once, a pair of shoes I don't have to try to stretch!These are a great summer sandal. They look good with just about any summer attire- crops, shorts, skirts and dresses, and even just regular pants. The natural colour goes with everything. I love the raffia look around the platform and the band. There is a small elastic on one side that should help them flex without stretching. Fingers crossed, b/c I really do like these a lot. I will still avoid getting them wet.I love that they give me some extra height with the 2-inch platform. A bit clunky to walk around in at first- I haven't owned a platform since the early 2000s. But they're pretty sturdy and it'll just take a bit of getting used to. The footbed is cushioned and comfortable.No cons for these sandals at the moment. I will update if any issues arise once the weather is warm enough to start wearing them out and about.

These sandals are very cute. Unfortunately the platform style didn’t work for me but the shoes themselves were stylish, comfortable and didn’t feel like they would cause discomfort. My issue is that I can’t feel the car pedals when I drive in them so they aren’t for me. The colour is as pictured and the material is very on trend for spring though.

I love these sandals! As a shorty (5'4") they give me a little extra height but becuase they're platforms and not heels I'm still totally stable on my feet. They’re super comfortable right away. I didn't find that they needed to be broken in. The memory foam makes a big difference. The strap is just the right size. Not too tight but snug enough to keep them on my feet. It didn't rub or irritate the top of my feet. I got the natural color and it goes with pretty much everything. They feel lightweight but still well made. I know these will get a lot of use this summer!
